Forward Deployed Engineer

The role

As Emm's first Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work directly with product owners and engineers at frontier labs to build custom product development tools.

Requirements: Formidability and clear communication. You must communicate to our customers and Emm's founders which problems you will solve, and then use Emm's development platform to deliver.

Compensation: In person, 4 days per week in Redwood City: 180k–350k USD. Remote: 150k–220k USD.

Interview process

1. Apply via the web form. Screening is done asynchronously — most candidates pass or are rejected at this stage without additional questions.
2. The next part is a 3-hour technical interview. You will watch a short video of a client meeting, communicate what you will build, and then build it. You will screenshare and collaborate with a senior engineer.
3. A behavioral interview with a co-founder or advisor.
